Worcester each-way tip: Stiletto to make the frame

A view of Worcester racecourse

Our good friends at Tipstrr have been peering through Sunday afternoon's racecards and have been attracted to this competitive handicap hurdle.

16:40 Worcester: Neu-Servo Superb Service Circuit Novices' Limited Handicap Hurdle (2 miles 7 furlongs) (Class 5)

Worcester serves up some jumps racing on Sunday and the clear favourite for this handicap hurdle is Absolutely Fine for the Skeltons.

Dan Skelton's yard has been in fantastic form this year, with a memorable Cheltenham Festival and he had a winner with Don Occhetti at this course 11 days ago.

Absolutely Fine has struggled in the winter with some disappointing performances, albeit among higher quality company, but in this one he is fresh after wind surgery so It will be interesting to see how the gelding gets on.

His biggest rival in the betting is Chemical Warfare, who comes into this one on the back of some great performances.

Last time out he was narrowly beaten into second at Uttoxeter, but two starts ago he won at this course so he stands a good chance.

However, with three places available, the Tipstrr camp have opted for an each-way contender.

Stiletto hasn't hit the ground running this year, but he had a good season in 2023.

He had three top three finishes in his last four outings at the back end of last season including a second at Wincanton in October 2023 where he was beaten by just a head.

Trainer Kieran Burke has a good record with a 15 percent strike rate in hurdles and his overall strike rate this season stands a 19 percent.

With his odds at around 12/1, he's definitely worth an each-way punt as he could net you a tidy profit.

Worcester best bet: Stiletto each-way in the 16:40 at Worcester
