MARQUIS LIGHTS (9) is backing up quickly after finishing in the money at this track (Dirt) over 5½f just eight days ago. Strong run last time and should prove tough to beat. DESERTROSE OFTEXAS (5) is back at the races for the first time since September 8. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino. One of the genuine hopes in the race. STORMY DAME (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. I WIN LIKA GIRL (3) wasn't far away in her two starts prior to sub-par seventh last time out over 5½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt). Sure to do much better.
