ENCHANTING SOUND (3) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in contention on the turn before being beaten 3. 5 lengths into seventh over 6f at Belmont Park. Strips fitter and can bounce back. GINGERIFFIC (8) was safely held when seventh last time out over 5½f at Northam, beaten 3. 5 lengths, after a win at Geraldton at the previous outing.
