A competitive event. BILL'S BAAR (4) shaped as though dropping back to 7f would suit when third at Nottingham (1m1/2f). May yet prove capable of better than this current rating. The improving lightly-raced MERESIDE MADNESS (11) was denied a short-head last time at Ayr (7f) on first outing for four months. Might go close with that run under his belt. MODERN TIMES (1) showed plenty of promise for Harry Eustace and looks an interesting acquisition representing new connections. ISTANBLUE (6) did well finishing fourth over 6f at Doncaster last start. Might appreciate stepping back up in trip.
