Has ability and should be right in the finish. BERRY BERRY GOOD (8) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a third over 5f at Ascot when beaten a long neck. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Best form puts him right in this. HEYFIELD BOOMER (3) showed good early pace over 6f at Geraldton last time and kept going to score by a nose. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. SPREAD THE RUMOUR (4) closed last prep six-and-a-half months ago when he finished third over 6f at this track. One of the genuine contenders.
