BENAMERA (9) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Goulburn over 7f. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. SHOW COUNTY (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Hawkesbury. Couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 7f at Rosehill, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Has the class to take this out. LEASE (5) got the prize two runs ago at Coffs Harbour. Less impressive last time out when fifth over 7f at Taree, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. SQUEEZEBOX (3) is returning from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Finished seventh at Hawkesbury over 6½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Kim Waugh. Ran fifth in a trial at Gosford over 5f recently.
