MAGNATEAR (2) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when third in the LR National Sprint at Canberra over 7f, beaten 0.7 lengths. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on four occasions from seven starts. Should be hard to stop. FRENCH RULER (6) had been racing okay but he was safely held last time out when sixth over 7f at Newcastle. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove tough to beat. HARLOW MIST (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Newcastle, beaten 4.5 lengths into eighth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SPANGLER (1) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Hawkesbury, beaten 8 lengths into tenth. Capable of featuring prominently.
