SLINKY (6) was sent out favourite last time and scored by a nose over this trip at Warwick Farm. Has a sound record at this journey with two wins and two minor placings. Top chance. UP TO MISCHIEF (5) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fourth at Warwick Farm and beaten 1.5 lengths. Meets easier opposition this time. Among the leading chances in this company. KHAZNAH (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Canterbury, beaten 10 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but she is fitter and worth serious consideration. DENETTA (3) is back at the races for the first time since July 1 2023. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 7f at Hawkesbury. Definite top-three chance.
