COUPLES RETREAT (4) will find this a little easier than her second on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten a long neck at the end of 5½f at Warwick Farm. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so she will be hard to beat. GANGSTA GRANNY (7) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5¾f at Randwick Kensington when third, beaten 2.5 lengths. Likely improver so a big run is anticipated. TAUTOU (3) sat on the pace when fresh from a lay-off last start but faded to be beaten 2.2.5 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Has a good record when second up. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. Lay-off. Well placed to make amends.
