OCTAVIAN TREASURE (2) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 4½f at Newcastle. Has race fitness on her side now. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. HERE COMES HOGAN (5) lifted strongly only to just miss when when resuming last start over 4½f at Scone. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. DU CAP (7) was well in commission last start over 5½f at this track when fourth, beaten 3 lengths. Great chance to atone. ROSE GOLD (10) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished fifth over 1m at Newcastle. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Randwick. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
