FREE DAWN (6) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 4¾f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. That followed a win at Healesville the start prior. Dylan Dean is a key engagement. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. SQUAMANZER (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 2 lengths, over 5f at Yarra Valley. Should be peaking now and will be tough to beat. JUMPING POWER TWO (4) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a long neck away in third over 5f at Buchan. Has the early speed to cross from out wide. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. SPIRIT MAKER (9) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 6f at Healesville, finishing second and beaten one length. Sure to be in the mix.
