MO' SPRESSO (8) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by one length. Shaping up nicely and he is sure to go well. FAITH (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 12 lengths back in seventh over 6½f at this track. Will take some beating. MALDINI (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. PROCTOR PHANTOM (2) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5 lengths away in sixth over 6f at this track on November 15 which was the only run of that prep. Best figures stack up nicely.
