SOUPER ICONIC (4) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 17 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 7f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. MY BOY BRUCE (5) travelled in a rearwards position and failed to live up to expectations over 5½f at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. DOADSTER (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. GO JIMMY GO (9) was well-fancied when resuming last start but could only manage fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6f at this track. Has a decent second up record. Can improve sharply here.
