This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. CONN SMYTHE (2) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7½f at this track, beaten one length after being in contention on the bend. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. SCUDERIA (8) is a consistent performer with four minor placings from four starts this time in work. Continued the trend last start when runner-up over 7f at this track after he was always up in the leading division. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TOTAL SENSATION (5) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 3 lengths, at his latest appearance over 7f at this track. In the mix.
