ONENIGHTSTANDARDS (2) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FIGHTER IN THE WIN (1) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 7f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. JIM'S HOPE (8) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. Group 3 winner WHISPER NOT (4) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at this track over 7½f last time, finishing sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Well placed to atone.
