NORTH WARDEN (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 7f at this track. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Winning rider Pietro Moran sticks and he is likely to feature in the finish again. PET SOUNDS (7) started at 3/1 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 6½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CALUSA DONNIE (2) finished midfield at his first run back from a lay-off last start, beaten 9 lengths over 1m at this track. Commendable record at this trip with a win and five minor placings and is expected to be competitive. PATROLMAN (3) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Likely improver with strong prospects.
