Has never been out of the placings at the third run in so he is sure to feature in the finish. ONE TRUE GENTLEMAN (1) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 5½f at this track. Ryan Munger scored on him last time and retains the mount. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is good enough to take this out. RAT PORTAGE (3) ran on well to get up for third at his latest appearance at this track over 6½f. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. Group 2 placegetter CLAYTON (2) finished 5 lengths behind the winner in seventh place when resuming over 6½f last start at this track. Second up record is sound. Can do better this time.
