SMILES FOR DAVID (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 16 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 6½f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. DIFFERENT DRUM (4) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the corner at this track, finishing seventh and beaten 3 lengths starting at 9/2. This doesn't look as hard so she is one of the main contenders. SISTER COUSIN (6) was in contention on the bend and finished third last time over 5½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
