SUMMER COMMANDER (9) finished just a nose from the winner in second when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track after racing handy. Drawn out but can cross. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. FRACEN MACHO (5) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at this track when second, beaten 4.5 lengths. Likely improver so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. POPWEISER (7) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when fourth, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 6½f. Measures up nicely on best figures and has the blinkers removed. Worth keeping safe. FAST FRIENDS (6) is a three-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Catherine Day-Phillips.
