MIDNIGHT TEMPESTA (1) is a 15-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 7 lengths when fifth over 5½f at this track. Fitter for that outing and is a great chance to break his maiden status. TAPPING OUT A TUNE (2) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 5f at this track when he was prominent throughout. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. POPWEISER (4) has his first look at a turf track. Resumed last start with a moderate sixth over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is in the mix on best figures.
