TAPROOM (4) finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. GHOSTLY SPITFIRE (5) is an imported three-year-old having his first run in this area for the Kevin Attard barn. Finished off last campaign with 11th over 7f at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) four months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly for the new connections but he is among the leading chances. STUD MUFFIN (2) settled well back when 99 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming sixth at Gulfstream Park the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. NIGHT STRIKER (1) is back at the races for the first time since December 17. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6½f at this track. One to consider.
