PINE CLIFFS (4) was one place behind the main selection at Southwell. Reacted positively to first-time cheekpieces (retained) winning at Chelmsford (1m2f) subsequently. Off the track for 144 days but still looks fairly treated. PINK PETUNIA (3) brings progressive form among novice company. Held on handicap debut and dropping 2lb might be able to improve again. Last start Lingfield winner FLAINE (9) is another for the shortlist.
