PERFECTLY GOOD (10) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 6 lengths away in fifth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. WOLLEMIA ANGEL (12) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at Benalla last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth on debut at Moe the run before. Nicely placed to break the maiden status. THE THIRD WISH (8) is a 10-start maiden who could only manage to finish fifth at her latest appearance over 6½f at Wangaratta. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. STRANGLEHOLD (11) is a first-starter by Pierro who was an AUD $ 450,000 (Magic Millions 2023 Gold Coast Yearling Sale) purchase. Fitter for a recent trial. With the blinkers on bold run is anticipated.
