SKILFUL ARTIST (6) resumes. After filling a minor placing at his last appearance at warracknabeal over 6f on july 13. Should be hard to stop. CHEEKY CRAB (7) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 6 lengths away in tenth over 5f at Wagga. Fitter and deserves another chance. TRIBAL LANDS (12) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5f at Bendigo last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming sixth at Echuca the run before. Won't find this as tough so she will be hard to beat. TIDAL SURGE (14) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish tenth at the latest run over 7½f at Mornington. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Can kick off with a bold showing.
