GOLDEN ACE (4) was unbeaten as a novice winning the 2m1f G2 Dawn Run Mares Novices Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Exploits over 2m4f have seen her surrender her unbeaten tag. Drops markedly to 1m7f and a healthy mares allowance will further help her chances along with previous course form. Leading contender. BURDETT ROAD (1) set the pace but ultimately faded into 9L third behind two class hurdlers in the G1 Christmas Hurdle at Kempton Boxing Day. Remains highly regarded for his win in the Greatwood Premier Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham during November. Main danger. BRENTFORD HOPE (3) holds winning track and trip form.
