GOLD ROD (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when sixth over 1f130yards at Fair Meadows two months ago. This is a nice drop in grade so she can find the winners' list. LINDA CARTEL (2) is back from a lay-off of ten weeks. Scored a good win at her final run last campaign at Fair Meadows (Dirt) over 1f80yards. Can make her presence felt. PAINTED DIVA (7) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing seventh over 0½f at Fair Meadows (Dirt) nine weeks ago. Worth plenty of thought.
