WISPER JET (4) turned in a fine effort to win by 0.3 lengths at this track and distance when when resuming from a layoff last start. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. SOUTHARD ROCKET (7) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 1f31yards at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role.
