CHIEF TWO SOX (8) finished 5.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 2½f at this track when fresh from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. The testing material. PETE BE ROWDY (1) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished seventh over 1f130yards at Fair Meadows (Dirt). No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. DUANES BETTY (7) was last at the races when she finished second over 3f213yards at Remington Park (Dirt) on May 19. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. DASH N FIREPOWER (4) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at this track (Dirt) over 2½f, beaten 2.75 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
