Likely contender with strong prospects. UNION BUDDY (6) recorded his maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at this track (Dirt). Yet to miss the top three here in five starts. Should be in the finish. HOTWIRES HOTTIE (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then was never in contention last start when 2.25 lengths away in fifth over 1f130yards at this track. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. CLUTCH SHOT (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but impressed when returning from a break last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only 0.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 1f80yards. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
