SCALDING (3) comes here following a win over 1f180yards at Los Alamitos Qh three weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Has the right profile. BINX (8) finished 3.5 lengths adrift in fifth when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1½f at this track (Dirt). Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and can get the job done. JANA JEAN (4) did little and finished 3 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1f31yards at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at Prairie Meadows the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. WHAT FIRE PYC (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1f80yards at Prairie Meadows. Likely improver so plenty to like about her chances.
