PAPA BILL (7) finished fifth over 5½f at Remington Park (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on December 13. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Should be hard to stop. QUALITY BLASTOFF (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only 0.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 5½f after being prominent at the bend. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. SMACKZILLA (2) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 12 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1m at this track. Likely contender with strong prospects. RANCHO A GO GO (3) lines up on the back of a 5 length fourth over 5½f at this track as favourite. Hard to knock.
