RUBICON CROSSING (2) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 5f at Cranbourne. Perfectly placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. PROPHET'S CHOICE (9) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when tenth over 5f at Warrnambool after she settled well back. Should be peaking now and is ready to show what she can do. SHE'S XTRAVAGANT (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth in a 5½f contest at this track a week-and-a-half ago after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. LASCARS (1) was last at the races when he finished fifth over 6f at Moonee Valley on March 1. Has to be respected.
