ISTHMUS (14) was close to breaking through last time in work, closing the prep as favourite and finishing third at Geelong before a five months break. Expect she has come on over the break. Well placed to make a bright return. FLY GIRL (13) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 10 lengths back in tenth over 7f at Sale four months ago. Filled a minor placing in a recent Cranbourne trial. Great chance to break through. DA PLANE DA PLANE (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a nine months break, finishing the prep with a minor placing at Pakenham Synthetic. Expect he has come on over the break. Strong winning chance on best figures. EXPOSAY (2) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 5f at Wangaratta. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
