PHEEBLE'S SPIRIT (9) finished second two runs back at Roma then improved last time out to score by one length as favourite over 1m at Nanango. Ty Wheeler scored on her last time and retains the mount. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is good enough to play a major role. DAWN PARTY (6) broke his maiden last start over 1m1f at Gold Coast, scoring by a head. Tiffani Brooker was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. GOOGAZ (2) did little and finished 21 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m3f at Sunshine Coast last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Sunshine Coast the run before. Colleen Krahnen gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. CHASING JACKLEY (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Sunshine Coast over 1m1f after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around.
