HOKUSAI (5) is having her first run since June 27. Goes well when fresh with a win and two placings from four starts. Can return in winning form. VOULAIT (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Eagle Farm, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. BEAU'S GIRL (4) is a progressive galloper who is when resuming since finishing seventh over 5½f at Doomben three-and-a-half months ago. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Well placed and should be in the finish. AMPHAWA (2) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Gympie two starts back then scored by 0.8 lengths last time out over 4f at Thangool. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again.
