Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. BATTLE HYMN (2) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win when resuming last start by half a length over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Should be prominent again from the low draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. COUPLES RETREAT (10) was well supported when resuming last time out over 5f at Kembla Grange and proved too strong, scoring by half a length. Open to plenty of improvement and is expected to feature in the finish. WELCOME GYPSY (9) bounced back last start and got the job done by 1. 2 lengths over 4½f at Newcastle. Solid top-three prospects.
