KONING (8) started at 9/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths at this track over 1m2 3/4f after being prominent at the corner. Finds a nice race and can make amends. ARISTONOUS (1) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m2 3/4f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. NO SECOND THOUGHTS (7) made it two wins on the bounce last start when she scored by 1.1 lengths over 1m3f at Dubbo. Winning rider Olivia Chambers retains the mount. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. VAGUER (3) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was in contention on the turn before being beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 1m at Canberra. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
