GOLDEN SMILE (1) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Newcastle over 7f last time, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to take this out. VIKTOR (2) is a promising type who was in the placings on debut before a fourth last time over 7½f at Newcastle. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Expected to be in the finish. SAINT EMILION (6) ran below expectations last time at Kembla Grange, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths starting at 6/1. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. INDIGO STAR (4) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 0.8 lengths back in second over 7f at Kembla Grange. Steps up a level but he is capable of running another bold race.
