COUPLES RETREAT (5) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 5f at Hawkesbury. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. ELLIPSIS (9) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 5½f at Bathurst three weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. EXTREMELY HARDYS (2) was in control from the outset to score on debut over 6f at Canterbury three-and-a-half months ago and has not been produced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Rosehill trial. Has upside and is well-placed to feature again. AMELITA (3) returned from a break last start with an all-the-way win over 5½f at Canterbury, getting home by 2 lengths. Sure to be thereabouts.
