KARMAZONE (9) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m3 1/2f at Newcastle. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. ARISTONOUS (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 4 lengths when sixth in a 1m2f contest at Rosehill three-and-a-half weeks ago. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. AHURIRI (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Has never missed the frame second up. Likely improver with strong prospects. MAJORIAN (5) improved sharply last time out to score by a head over 1m2f at Hawkesbury two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
