HUESCA (1) was prominent at the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 6½f at Rosehill after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. CONVINCEBILITY (2) strode forward early from his wide draw over 7f in the Provincial Championships Final at Randwick last time, leading into the straight but fading right out of it to finish 14th. Expected to do much better. THE LITTLE PUMPER (3) is back after a break of six months. Looking to emulate his win at Canterbury at the beginning of last prep. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. COOL LAD (12) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 6f at Gosford. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
