BRASH LASS (7) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 5f at Seymour, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and she should be in the finish. DO IT NOW (5) was in the money two starts back at Bendigo but couldn't back it up last time when ninth, beaten 6 lengths, at Wodonga over 5½f. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. HAY JOE (1) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5f at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Can go on with it. A GOOD YARN (2) saluted two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when fourth over 5f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. In contention this time.
