MAKEWHOLE (7) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a neck, over 1m at Swan Hill when resuming after a break. Will drift back but wind up late. One of the leading chances. FLOOD AND FIRE (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten one length when sixth in a 1m4f contest at Swan Hill two weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. INFRINGEMENT (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Ballarat after being in contention on the bend. Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. DEMPSEY GIRL (12) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth at her most recent outing over 1m at Werribee. Expected to feature in the finish this time.
