MAX MERCURY (11) last appeared six weeks ago over 1m5 3/4f at Werribee when he finished fourth. This is his first run for the Andrew Bobbin stable. Key runner who will be tough to beat. NAMA DUDE (12) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m at Swan Hill, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CLEITUS (2) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m2f at Ballarat. Has the ability to play a significant role. LOTTAROC (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 4 lengths away in fifth over 1m at Echuca. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
