BURGUNDY GIRL (5) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m2f in the LR Canberra Cup. Won't find this as tough so she can find the winners' list. ASHAU VALLEY (3) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1m2f at Wangaratta, finishing 0.7 lengths from the winner. Best form puts him right in this. AVONVIEW (7) was in the money two starts back at Canberra but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 1m1f. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. SAINT LOFT (9) improved sharply last time out to score by 2.75 lengths over 1m2 3/4f at Goulburn two-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely to be there at the finish again.
