WITCH OF NOVEMBER (10) was at long odds on debut last time out and finished fifth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 4½f at Albury. Has upside and can open her account. HELLINDA (2) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 6f at Wagga Riverside. Has never been out of the placings at this stage of the prep. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best form puts him right in this. PETAWAWA (8) resumes from a lay-off of seven months and is having her first outing under new trainer Matthew Dale. Finished tenth at Newcastle over 6f at the opening run last time in work. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. AKATARAWA (9) is a two-start maiden who finished tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Wagga Riverside. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
