STURTY (8) made a nice return two starts back then settled well back and found a few when fifth over 6f at Newcastle three weeks ago. Fitter and well-placed to turn things around. SCISSOR ME TIMBERS (7) is a three-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. LUDOVICA (12) is a five-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at her latest appearance over 6f at Newcastle. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. MO CENT (4) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 6f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance.
