ROYAL PHAROAH (6) is building towards a maiden win after minor placings at his last two runs, the latest when second over 1m at Benalla, beaten 1.5 lengths. Nicely placed and gets his chance. SHADES OF SHERIFF (5) wasn't far away last time out, finishing fourth over 7f at this track after he got a long way back in the run. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the better chances. SIDE WAGER (1) stepped out on his debut over 6½f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago and finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement. SHEZA SNAKE (9) will find this a little easier after missing the frame in town last time, finishing tenth over 1m at Moonee Valley. Backmarker who gets home hard. Top three prospects.
