Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. TRIDENT KING (2) finished ninth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside, beaten only half a length. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. KEY NEWS (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Turffontein Inside, beaten 4.5 lengths. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
