SAFE SPACE (1) started at 9/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Turffontein Inside over 1m1f. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. CARNELO (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GIMME THE FLAME (3) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 7¼f at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. VAVA VEGAS (6) produced another moderate effort last start when 5 lengths from the winner in 11th over 7f at this track. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
